What is Limb Salvage?

Limb salvage refers to any surgical procedure aimed at preventing limb amputation. In many cases patients believe that their only option is amputation, but at our institute we use advanced surgical techniques and experience to find the best solution.
Most limb salvage cases are the result of trauma, but other cases stem from failed joint replacement surgery or neurologic disorders.
