Proper Patellar Tracking:
A Collaborative Approach
In some cases, patients who suffer from patellar tracking disorder may also have a valgus alignment (knock knee). The valgus alignment may result in a recurrence of patellar dislocation even after surgery. To remedy this problem, Dr. Fragomen corrects the valgus alignment while Dr. Beth Shubin Stein corrects the patellar tracking. The two work in conjunction with each other to ensure lasting positive results for each patient.
